About the Event
Jacob named the place Peniel (God’s Face) because he said, “I saw God face-to-face and lived to tell the story.” Genesis 32:30 MSG
Peniel is a quarterly retreat designed to give you the space you need to identify the lies of the enemy and slow down long enough to hear from God. Side by side, shoulder to shoulder with other men who want the same thing as you; to know, and experience the truth regarding their identity as a man. We will enjoy a time of worship, teaching, and connecting to God through an experiential exercise, followed by lunch and an opportunity to share and hear our stories in the context of an authentic and spirit-led community of men. It is my hope the Holy Spirit will challenge your view of yourself, in your relationship with God, and others. I pray He will reveal to you the ways you run from Him, the ways you hide from Him and others in your life.
Peniel may not be for the faint of heart. It's a time to connect with God, and other men as we join Jacob in saying, I saw God face to face and lived. Register now, and bring a friend.
