How do we respond when people we admire and care about withhold love and make decisions that affect us in hurtful and detrimental ways? How do we deal with life’s disappointments, trials and traumas?

Even as followers of Christ the most common response to deep wounding, disappointments, rejection and abuse is to isolate and wall off our hearts from people and even from God.

But God longs to keep an intimate connection with His sons and daughters. He longs to provide comfort and instruction that leads you into the fullness and maturity He intended for you from the very beginning. Our Heavenly Father does not want us to deny His love. He wants his sons and daughters to experience His love and in turn to express His love towards others.

Heart Life is a biblical approach of Christ centered Inner Healing and Deliverance. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit through Heart Life the broken hearted are healed and restored.

Heart Life Team

Deanna Garcia is a member of the Heart Life Inner Healing and Deliverance leadership team. As a mom of three grown children, former home school teacher and current bible study leader, Deanna has witnessed the power of caring for the issues of the heart.  Her ministry experience over the past five years has focused on one-on-one discipleship, leading bible studies and facilitating care groups. Along with her husband Tony, she hosts a weekly group in their home that meets to explore God’s word and support one another in prayer.  Deanna’s passion is to help others find the healing and freedom that results from processing soul wounds.

Penny Slosson is the Director of Heart Life Inner Healing and Deliverance.  Penny was called into inner healing ministry in her early walk with the Lord beginning in the 1980’s.  It is her great joy to see the brokenhearted brought back to life through the healing love of the Heavenly Father.  She witnesses it daily through the inner healing ministry of Heart Life which she co-founded. Penny has over 30 years of ministry experience leading others to freedom in Christ, including discipling, teaching, leading bible studies, counseling and mentoring. Penny also ministers alongside her husband who serves as Care and Evangelism Pastor at Love Church in Omaha.  They enjoy spending lots of time together and with their family including their seven grandchildren.

The July 27th Heart Life Inner Healing and Deliverance Day Retreat is also led by team members Tiff Emond and Jill Grunden.
